Founded in 1974 Arser is an art editor specializing in Italian modern and contemporary sculpture. Each work has been crafted and signed by the artists for Arser exclusively.
After many years Arser decided to make a rebranding and update its website.
One of the main problems was that the original website was abandoned and didn't solve the problem of promotion and selling the art. Also, there was no information about what the company does and its history.
The old logo was created more than 40 years ago and did not reflect the business.
The initial challenge in the design process was about a balance between old identity and the new one. In order to successfully rebrand the company, it was decided to start with a blank slate with a modern solution.
1. Developing a design system that is widely used in brand applications.
2. Define primary navigation for the website, flesh out the second and third level structure, make wireframing and structurize screens.
3. Create high-fidelity a prototype for each page using Sketch.
Arser new identity follows several concepts: geometry, modularity, and modernity.
The logo consists of simple geometric blocks that are perfectly arranged in letters.
The logo is scalable to infinite letterforms and visual arrangements.
