Salon20 is a top-notch luxury beauty salon with perfect stylists, colorists,, facial specialists who step away from the norm, in a space where they have the freedom to explore their creativity, help clientele to discover the world’s hottest beauty treatments and trends including hydrafacial, intraceuticals, weyergans dermio care plus and many more.

Here the clients will find a perfect environment where all treatments are delivered with precision, originality, and professionalism.

Understanding

Ligh, clear, easy to use website for a top-notch beauty salon. The place is based on unintimidating luxury and offers clients a relaxed atmosphere and appointments with its hand-picked stellar team that includes award-winning colorists and stylists.

Design Challenge

To focus on creating an elegant but modern logo, keeping the feeling of luxury.
To define the next generation of luxury beauty treatments on the website putting main accents on facials e.g. hydrafacial and intraceuticals.

My Role

1. Create a logo.
2. Define primary navigation for the website, flesh out the second and third level structure, make wireframing and structurize screens.
3. Create a high-fidelity prototype for each page using Adobe XD and InVision.
4. WordPress front-end and back-end development.

Logo

The brand identity communicates character, luxury, and longevity through its typography.

The logo has several taglines, one of them is Experience like no other, it reflects the clientele oriented business, extraordinary service, and uniqueness of this particular place.

The landing page includes an intro about the salon, selected services with an opportunity to check more, gallery and news.

The main emphasis was put on facial services, hydrafacial and intraceuticals, they are put in the services as well as on the landing page and navigation.

technology

The website is built on robust Wordpress CMS Sage based. It provides a modern development workflow and uses Laravel's Blade Engine which helps follow DRY principles and saves a lot of time.
Soberwp controller enables controllers when using Blade with Sage.
Advanced Custom Fields make content editing easy and pleasant.

The website uses modular structure thanks to Laravel's Blade engine: all components can be easily arranged, changed or deleted to create a unique layout.
