La Lezione is an Italian way to learn languages but first of all the Italian language. It is a living classroom experience brought to your screen, just turn on your webcam and microphone and you are ready to go!
Why Italian? First of all, it is based on a rich educational tradition and culture. There are a number of notable universities, many with long lineages: the universities of Bologna and Salerno, among others, go back to medieval times.
La Lezione also provides educational resources for students as well as for teachers. They are modern learning tools from major Italian publishing houses.
The main idea of the brand is Learn the Italian way which represents a rich educational tradition of teaching in Italia.
Endless possibilities of online education together with rich tradition unlock new opportunities for the learners, it could be a professional education or a new hobby.
I had a chance to help to establish the mission, the vision of the brand.
The goal was to establish a brand and interactive experience that accurately portrayed a rich Italian educational tradition and a lesson as a journey or experience.
The key concept is the following: the lesson is a journey, Italian experience.
The story should be told through a robust online experience. A gentle color palette stands out in the industry and provides a nice and touchy experience.
1. Developing marketing materials according to the brand’s core values.
2. Make sure that there is consistency across multiple marketing and advertising mediums.
3. Developing a design system that is widely used in brand applications.
1. Define primary navigation for the website, flesh out the second and third level structure, make wireframing and structurize screens.
2. Create a high-fidelity prototype for each page using Sketch and InVision.
3. WordPress + WooCommerce front-end and back-end development.
The logo represents Italian flag and balloon. The key concept is the following: lesson is a journey, italian experience.
Based on approach the content first, the media materials system is quite flexible. They are made in English, Italian, and Russian language.
All promotions for courses, webinars, offline events are consistent across social media or print materials.
After organizing the foundation first and wireframing, visual design was created. The website is used as a platform to display and promote the brand elements, every element ensures this.
The landing page includes a slider with highlighted courses, introductions for teaching and learning, upcoming events.
The website is built on robust Wordpress CMS Sage based. It provides a modern development workflow and uses Laravel's Blade Engine which helps follow DRY principles and saves a lot of time.
Soberwp controller enables controllers when using Blade with Sage.
Advanced Custom Fields make content editing easy and pleasant.
WooCommerce provides easy integration with WordPress and, it's scalable and you can control everything there.
The website uses modular structure thanks to Laravel's Blade engine: all components can be easily arranged, changed or deleted to create a unique layout.
